Welcome

my website explores the intersection of photography, collage, wellbeing, and book arts.

I teach all of these elements in my role as Senior Lecturer in Photography at The University of Chester. I run workshops both online and in person, primarily in book-arts, photography/collage, and in Mindful Photography. I am from Northern Ireland, my roots and connections with Belfast are strong and I am lucky enough to be adopted into a wonderful network of like minded people in the North West of England too.

Research and project work oscillate in and out of these elements and try to give presence to that which might otherwise be unspoken, and aims to do so with a modicum of creativity and even humour…
