Introduction to Book Arts – A great course to explore different book forms!
In this workshop we will explore different ways of making books and paper structures that become books. It is a good foundation to build book making skills on. The structures will include careful folding, stitching with traditional linen thread, making covers and so forth.
Guidance and demonstrations are part of the session and you will leave with at least 3 of your own creations.
All materials and use of tool kits are supplied on the day. Advice can be given for any projects you have in mind and examples of what you might do next to develop your skills and new found passion.
