Beautiful hand stitched journal
Join me for this one day workshop making a hand stitched journal. We will sew over tapes/ribbon using a French link stitch and kettle stitch to secure the signatures. It will be finished with a reinforced soft cover using designer pattern paper. The signatures will use heavy-weight recycled cartridge paper.

This is a full day workshop to make an A6 sized beautiful hand made book. We will make folios which will be stitched into the book covers with designer printed paper. This method keeps an open spine to see the stitching and tapes which bind the book block to the cover. Perfect as a creative book structure for a gift to yourself or someone special. You can have a choice of recycled cartridge papers as the internal book block (good for journaling, sketching, writing etc.) Or beautiful hand made papers for that aesthetic look and feel (small additional charge for the hand made paper option)
Skills include: paper grain. accurate folding. kettle stitch. French link stitch. drum binding for cover preparation.
It will be a relaxed and enjoyable day but working at a reasonable pace too!
